Vertical Thirty-Eight, 2026

US$ 7,800

Description

The composition brings together four tall vertical panels crossed by horizontal bands in varying widths. Blues, greens, black, white, and muted neutral tones create a changing rhythm across the work. The horizontal direction of the stripes contrasts with the strongly vertical proportions of the panels, creating a tension between the internal composition and the overall vertical structure.

Variations in color, width, and alignment give each panel an individual character while maintaining a visual relationship across the four elements.

About the Series

This artwork belongs to an ongoing series exploring verticality as a visual language. Repetition, color, proportion, and variation create relationships between the four panels, while the spaces between them connect the composition with the surrounding space.
