Making Architectural-Scale Easy
A Practical Approach to Transporting and Installing Large Artworks
Transporting architectural-scale paintings has always presented challenges. Oversized crates, limited access through elevators and stairways, high shipping costs, and an increased risk of damage often limit what can be commissioned.
Because of their visual language, my artworks are created as compositions made of separate parts that follow the natural geometry of the work. Colors and shapes are organized across these parts so that the divisions or the connection between them become an integral part of the composition.
The result is a large original artwork that maintains its visual and spatial continuity while remaining practical to transport, handle, and install.
Panel Sizes
I use panels with maximum dimensions of 80 × 140 cm. These dimensions have been selected to remain within the package size limits accepted by major shipping companies such as UPS and FedEx, making transportation more practical and cost-effective.

- 320 × 140 cm (4 panels)
Materials and Construction
Each section is constructed on a rigid plywood panel, covered with cotton canvas, and painted by hand using oil paint and mixed media. The rigid panel construction provides excellent dimensional stability while preserving the appearance and surface quality of a traditional canvas painting.
Installation
The individual panels are securely joined using a concealed joining system and installed according to the intended composition. Once assembled, the parts form a unified artwork.
